If you are looking for one of the best internet media tablet out there, then you should take a look at the Archos 5. It has a nice 4.8 in screen with 160 gb of memory. Check it out at amazon. Be quick the deal might end soon. $280 is not bad.

Hi,
Can you tell me what would be the best mediaplayer at the lowest cost, that will be able to play audio and video files from an external hard drive.
It should be able to input into a TV or a music system directly and play stuff on the external hard drive…
Woudl be great if you could advise me on something nice…

Hey, I would go with the Archos 5 160GB (the one on my page), and then buy the tv stand for $30 more. You can basically hook it up directly to your TV and play content from you Archos to your TV. Check it out here. And the main devise can be found here
