OVI store has launched

The long awaited Symbian store has just opened its doors today for all you Symbian gurus. There seems to be apps for most of the major phones including Nokia 5800 and the N95. Check it out and register to get apps for your phone. This is a big step for Nokia and Symbian platform trying to compete with Apples app store. The good thing about this store though is that the OVI store might grab the attention to more developers only because the Symbian OS is the #1 in the world today and that even with Apples great success, they still need some time to even compete with Nokia’s sales.
